Originally from Falkirk, I now live in Leith, Edinburgh. I studied at Leith School of Art principally under the guidance of colourist painter Jacqueline Watt.
My work ranges from detailed drawings to atmospheric semi-abstract coastal paintings, but also includes abstract pieces.
I am interested in the margins: the places where things meet and merge and the spaces between them. A good example of this is the coastline where I could happily spend a lifetime observing the changing relationships between earth, sea and sky and expressing that with paint.
If you are interested in my work please don’t hesitate to contact me for details of sizes, prices and framing information. I also have a range of gift cards for sale and affordable giclee prints are available of some of my pieces.
I hope you enjoy viewing my website.
